How to choose a wedding venue
- Start from your guest count — capacity is a hard filter, and the room should fit at 80–110% of your list.
- Ask what is included (tables, chairs, linens, staff) and whether catering is in-house or open — that policy is the biggest hidden cost lever.
- Get a realistic all-in Saturday total, not just the room rate; service fees and taxes commonly add 20%+ to quotes.
- Check the weather backup plan — you should be happy with it, not just tolerate it.
